Florida is the biggest emerging padel market in the US, and it's where the sport is starting to take root. Demand for new facilities is outpacing supply across the state. But building in Florida requires more than court construction expertise. Courts need to be engineered for humidity, heavy rain, drainage, and hurricane-rated wind loads. And before you break ground, you need to know whether the market in your specific area can actually support a new facility. Our team is based in Miami and has both built and played on courts across the state.
You want to be one of the first in your area. We help you identify the right market, find the space, navigate Florida permits, and open a revenue-generating facility. Not just install some glass.

Alex and Enrique, co-founders and padel partners.
Alex is a former #14-ranked professional pickleball player who co-founded two US court construction businesses and built a vetted installer network across all 50 states. Enrique grew up in Mexico, where padel has been mainstream for decades, and was on the ground for some of the earliest padel facility builds in Latin America. Together, they operate out of Miami and have both played and built courts across Florida. This is their home market.
A single outdoor padel court in Florida typically ranges from $40,000 to $80,000+ depending on court type, foundation conditions, drainage requirements, and add-on finishes. Florida projects can require additional investment in drainage and wind-resistant systems. We provide detailed quotes based on your specific site.
Yes. For any permanent outdoor installation in Florida, we strongly recommend hurricane-rated structural steel and tempered glass panels rated for local wind load requirements. Florida Building Code requirements vary by county, and coastal projects face stricter standards. We spec every outdoor build to meet local requirements and work with our partner engineers to prepare the structural documentation needed for permits.
Permitting requirements vary by county and municipality. Most outdoor permanent installations require a building permit, and some locations require zoning approval or HOA sign-off. Indoor conversions in existing buildings typically have a simpler permitting path. We work directly with partner engineers to prepare all required documentation and submit permits on your behalf.
A typical Florida padel court project runs 3 to 6 months from signed agreement to opening day. This includes manufacturer lead time, site preparation and foundation work, and installation of 5 to 7 days per court. Permitting timelines vary by county and can affect the overall schedule. We factor this in from day one.
